Ziółko Hawthorn Flower is a dried preparation made from the flowers of the hawthorn (Crataegus) – a shrub commonly found on field boundaries, in thickets and along roadsides, recognisable by its small, white or pale pink flowers. Wild-growing hawthorn is considered the most valuable.

Hawthorn flower tea has a light colour, a delicate floral aroma and a mild flavour. Hawthorn flowers contain natural flavonoids and have been used for generations in home herbal blends as an ingredient in mild infusions.

Directions for use

Pour 200 ml of hot water over 1 teaspoon of hawthorn flower and steep, covered, for 5–8 minutes. Can be drunk 2–3 times a day.
